The Lion's Roar:
Tantric Practice and certain statements made by the Buddha are called the Lion's Roar. When the lion roars in the jungle, everyone pays attention. The lion is confident, because he is the undisputed king of the jungle.
The Lion's Roar behind Tantric Practice is that all samsaric situations, whether postive, negative, or neutral, can be used on the path to Buddhahood. It is the notion that we are all already Buddhas. We already have everything within us to express BuddhaNature.
It is the notion that we can transform any negative situation or negative emotion into the path to Buddhahood. It is the ultimate magic, the greatest alchemy to transform the passions and delusions into wisdom.
